What is Primary Stages?

Primary Stages is Philly's hottest 10 minute script-in-hand play reading series in which we blur the lines between a script-in-hand reading a fully produced night of theater!

We don't sit around in a half circle, with our faces buried in scripts, giving a cold, cold read. We get up and move. We use simple lights, sound, sets, props, and costumes. We know this sounds crazy but...we even act!
